Fat Free Courgette Couscous with Prawns
Looking for a quick fix fat free meal? My fat free courgette couscous with prawns does the trick. And it’s hCG Phase 2 compliant, as well š
I have embarked on a new round of The Fat Loss Protocol to regain control of my weight, feel better and look better. Courgette (or zucchini) and prawns (or shrimp, depending on local linguistic uses) are two of my favourite ingredients to pair. And since I’m always looking for new fat-free meal ideas, most of the time I end up creating my own š Here’s my latest offering :
Servings: 1 serving
Equipment
- Thermomix TM31, TM5 or TM6
Ingredients
- 1 cup zucchini (courgette) cut in chunks
- 1 lime juice only
- 3 sprigs fresh coriander or parsley or chervil
- 1 cm fresh ginger cut into coins
To garnish
- 100 g cooked and peeled prawns (shrimp, crevettes)
- 1 handful cherry tomatoes
- 2 cups salad greens
- cider vinegar
Instructions
For the tabouleh or couscous
- Add zucchini/courgette, lime juice, a handful of coriander leaves or other herbs and your ginger coins to your Thermomix bowl. Chop 2 or 3 seconds/Speed 5. Transfer to a plate or a bowl.
To garnish
- Arrange your prawns and some cherry tomatoes around your zucchini couscous.
- Serve with 2 cups of salad greens mixed with some apple cider vinegar.
- Enjoy!
