Each recipe is clearly written and clearly laid out for ease in following, with ingredients on the left and numbered Thermomix instructions on the right. Janie’s Tips at the end of each recipe offer insights like variations, dietary modifications (gluten free or dairy free, for instance), storing tips and time-saving techniques.

And have I mentioned the gorgeous photography? The talents of Myburgh du Plessis, Peter Marshall, Greg Turner, Ben Pollard and Chris Orange bring out the best of the visual delights of these delightful chocolate recipes.
I made Ruth Hinks’ superb Millionaire’s Shortbread and the recipe was easy and straightforward the whole way through. Despite my absolute passion for all things caramel, I had never yet made one in my Thermomix. Ruth’s instructions make the best of our Best Friend in the Kitchen and I was delighted by how easy it was to make perfect caramel on my first try. Delicious!!
