Happy Thermomix Christmas!
Picture this: It’s Christmas morning and in our family we have always had Eggs Benedict and Champagne for breakfast. Eggs, check. Smoked salmon, check. Champagne, check. Lemons and butter for the Hollandaise sauce, check. English muffins, … oops! We just moved to France on Friday the 13th of December and my shopping brain hasn’t kicked in yet. Not to mention the fact that English muffins are not readily available in French supermarkets and the nearest Marks and Spencer is a mere 90-minute drive away. And closed on Christmas Day.
So what do I do? Thermomix to the rescue, I make homemade Thermomix English muffins and boy are they a treat! I promise to post the recipe soon š
As I get ready to use my trusty Thermomix once again to steam a stuffed turkey roll in the Varoma steamer, my thoughts turn to those who are in the dark, figuratively as well as physically, and my heart sends best wishes for warmth, safety, electricity, health and friendship on this Christmas 2013. Merry Christmas everyone! Let us count our blessings!
