Good Food in London and Birmingham

Next week sees the BBC Good Food Show winter edition in Birmingham (28 November – 2 December 2012) so it’s a good time for me to get my Top Picks from the BBC Good Food Show London edition up on the blog. I’ve been going every year for the past four years, and this is the third year I’ve been an Independent Thermomix Demonstrator helping out on the UK Thermomix stand.

Over three years I’ve seen a noticeable change in the visitors to the stand. The first year we needed to attract people to see Thermomix and they had no idea what it is or what it does (“Thermo what? What’s that?”) .

Last year some people had a greater perception of Thermomix but they still didn’t really know much about it (“Hmm… I may have heard something about your machine but what does it do?”).

This year, however, we had people almost running up to the stand saying to the people with them, “There’s that Thermomix! I’ve seen it on television and I want to know all about it!” It’s amazing how the buzz about Thermomix is growing and how many people love it. But you know that, don’t you?

Oh, and then we were all so pleased when both James Martin and Pierre Koffmann said in on-stage interviews that Thermomix was the best kitchen appliance ever. Fantastic!!

When I get a break from the UK Thermomix stand I go and have a look around the stalls and stands at the BBC Good Food Show London – and end up filling a shopping trolley with excellent delicacies such as these :
